Step 1: Get to Catalina Island from the Mainland
Since cars cannot drive to Catalina Island, you must travel by passenger ferry or helicopter from Southern California:
Passenger Ferry (~1 Hour):
Catalina Express: Departs daily from Long Beach, San Pedro, or Dana Point.
Catalina Flyer: Departs daily from Newport Beach.
Helicopter (~15 Minutes):
Maverick Helicopters: Direct flights depart from Long Beach or San Pedro straight to Avalon.
Step 2: Arrive in Avalon
By Sea: All ferries arrive at the Cabrillo Mole Terminal at the south end of Avalon Bay.
By Air: Helicopters land at the Pebble Beach Heliport in Avalon.
Step 3: Reach Catalina Courtyard Suites
Address: 108 Marilla Avenue, Avalon, CA 90704
(Located just off the main bayfront, a short distance from the ferry terminal)
On Foot (5–10 Minute Walk):
Exit the ferry terminal at Cabrillo Mole.
Follow the waterfront walkway along Crescent Avenue past the green pleasure pier and shopfronts.
Turn left inland onto Marilla Avenue — the hotel is located right on your right.
